Cameroonian Ajara Nchout joins Atlético de Madrid, vice-champion of Spain

Cameroonian international Ajara Nchout Njoya signed with Spanish club Atlético de Madrid on Sunday (January 3rd), less than a month after being crowned Norwegian champion with Vålerenga Fotball Damer.

This is one hell of a leap forward for the “ Indomitable Lioness “. At almost 28 years old, Ajara Nchout Njoya joins Atlético de Madrid, one of the three biggest clubs in Spain, champion three times in a row between 2017 and 2019 and second last season.

The Cameroonian striker signed with the Rojiblancas until June 2022 after two years in Norway, punctuated by a national championship title in early December with Vålerenga Football Damer. Top scorer in the championship with ten goals, Ajara Nchout Njoya arrives in Spain with full confidence.

The one who allowed Cameroon to reach the round of 16 of the 2019 World Cup by scoring a brace against New Zealand, will discover its seventh professional club after experiences in Russia, Sweden, Norway and the States -United.
